It is with immense pleasure that Hospitalar actively participates in the accomplishment of one more great event for the Brazilian health. For the first time in the history of the International Hospital Federation, its world congress will be held in a Latin American country. The choice of having Brazil as the host for the 36th World Hospital Congress is an evidence that the world is recognizing Brazil’s reputation and how much our country – government, entities and sector leaders – take healthcare more and more seriously each day.

The accomplishment of this congress in Brazil will be an additional opportunity for the country to show the world its positive experiences in the healthcare area. The IHF Congress convenes healthcare sector leaders of almost 100 countries and shall count on the participation of around 2,000 professionals of many different areas. Therefore, it will be a very important moment for exchanging information and knowledge with representatives of the entire world.

Hospitalar has constantly worked to keep Brazilian healthcare in the world’s agenda. We are already preparing to promote a strong and very representative congress, which will discuss the future of healthcare in Brazil, in Latin America and in the entire world, always seeking to improve the quality of health services for the whole population.
