The General Director of the International Hospital Federation (IHF), Eric de Roodenbeke,
and the Events and Projects Manager, Dwight Moe, flew down to Rio de Janeiro at
the end of October, for an inspection visit to the official hotel of the 36th
World Hospital Congress and to follow the preparations for the event.
The IHF directors, escorted by the CNS and HOSPITALAR teams, paid visits to
the installations of the Hotel Windsor Barra, recently elected the best hotel
in Brazil for events and conventions. Both executives also participated in several
meetings with the IHF Rio 2009 organizing teams, to discuss details of the scientific
and social programs, reception and handling structure, as well as logistics and
promotion.
This official event of the IHF is held every two years. The 36th World Hospital
Congress will be held from November 10th to 12th 2009, in Rio de Janeiro, in a
joint endeavor of the IHF - International Hospital Federation; CNS – National
Health Confederation-Brazil and HOSPITALAR Fair + Forum. |
