Hospitals are getting organized in several
states to participate in the Rio IHF 2009 Congress

The Rio IHF 2009 Congress will bring together, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, healthcare professionals of several Brazilian states. The Association of Hospitals and Healthcare Services of the State of Bahia, for example, is planning to register up to 100 entrepreneurs of the sector. For this doing, the institution is signing an agreement with a local travel agency. The president of the Association, Marcelo Moncorvo Britto, considers the participation in the Congress as an opportunity for the Bahian professionals to exchange information with their colleagues from several parts of the world, analyzing solutions that have proven to be successful abroad.

"Normally, if you want to get this type of expertise you have to travel outside Brazil. Even then, you are only able to get to know the reality of one country. During the IHF Rio 2009, we will be able to analyze opinions of quite a few parts of the world”, said Britto.

Other Brazilian states also work to ensure their participation in the Congress.
Santa Catarina should be sending 100 attendees, whilst Rio Grande do Sul will send around 50 participants. From São Paulo over 100 persons are expected to attend.
